17apr19> It seems like
this evolving human race has reached a critical level and now by its own
innovative approach it is trapped and trying to destroy itself. Time has come
to a stage when we are expecting human alike robots. Japanese robotics has
already gave some prototypes and BBC click is enough to show you all practical evidences.
The VR (virtual reality) and Ai (Artificial intelligence) and the robotics are
now inevitable in picturing emerging reality. Using VR simulation and Ai are
necessary technology advancements to solve many real life problems. The artificial
robot hands are doing plenty of works in unbelievable quick and in bulk mode. Machine-humans
will not fall into sickness, the productivity will increase and they will contribute
more then we do to the corporate world. But if anyone think that robots will
solve all problems of the world and we human are to put out of order in this
fast rolling over world, shouldn’t I disagree? If so then how? My point of
bringing up this issue is not putting question on VR or Ai, nor it is on their
practical applications, and or about Robot hands or Robotic automations, they
are doing real good. My concern is more to the discussion on cloning vis a vis
human alike robots.
Few days back the idea of
robots were like steel bodied boxed faced machine type mechanical structure
which has Ai and which listens to the human commands only. But today this
picture has been changed, we are seeing inventors are trying to make robots
more alike human beings. These new models are having silicon based skin more alike
human body and their expressions in face and in body movement viz, the why they
walk, talk all are made in a way that it shall look exactly like human beings.
My point of concern is just here.
May we remember what were
the issues concerning against human cloning? Wasn’t it like, If we see another
alike me in front of me standing, why should I feel afraid or abnormal? Or in
which point the issue of denial comes in human cloning? Is it the identity
question that we may face, or is it some thing not natural that we might get into
and therefore shall deny the situation? As per my thinking, cloning hadn’t been
so easy or successful and its research created a kind of fear among some
powerful people that maybe the reason on why it has been stopped. More or less it
hurt’s the human pride of being the self. “I made this, I was this and that, I
did this and that which no other could have done before”, these are the pride
and if we look broadly this is the tendency among people to claim that he or
she is unique and no other can be alike him or her, now if this happens that
somehow similar to his body another looks and does alike things then how to comprehend
or compare it to own self? or measure it’s value against us, I think these are
the main issues on rejection of its reality ?
Well now lets stop thinking
on cloning of human alike bodies, and focus on robotics? If I find a robot just
alike me and not clone of me then what is the difference? Well it is not human
and it do not have a human soul or free will claiming to be me, it has to obey
me as it has been created by Ai, so I am having here my another body directed
by me, then what is the problematic issue here?, rather it is a kind of extended
another me, it shall help me in increasing my working ability, Now if we put
this two variables into the burning Question’s equation, I think we can solve
it now. The same me if made by cloning is not acceptable by my intellect but if
it is done by a completely look alike robot then I have no problem, isn’t it
the scenario? If so then it clearly reflects that we deny cloning of self as it
might put own self into conflict but if we can extend its ability by clon
robots then our intellect or soul shows no problem. It therefore is very clear
that it is our pride “of Me or I did it, made it and is unique” related paradox.
Long ago, not so long ago
a young boy asked the panel in a conference that okay agreed let cloning be
forbidden as per religious view points, then, what about cloning of human body
parts. We see sometime we are in need of a broken arm or a malfunction heart, to
fix with a new one, if cloning can give us a new flesh body arm or heart then
what is the problem, rather this should be appreciated. My question is if
another human is possible by cloning and it become a new way of giving birth in
human race then exactly where does the full stop mechanism occur. Why we to put
a full stop here? Prior birth control technology there were a random new born scenario,
after the technology wide spread now we have a new situation and human race is
dealing with it normally. If there be an alternative new way to give birth
where does the problem stands? Another critical question may I wish to raise?,
why people wish to make human alike robots, why not they think of making supreme
alike robots? Well in cartoons and cinemas they have brought in the thought
already but it is the inherent desire of human that they seek to make human alike
robots perhaps to feel being creator of their same image, they wish to create
human as like they believe their creator created them in his image, or for
those who don’t believe in God, it is their wish to become the ultimate supreme
God, the unmoved mover but even then they wish to make their creatures in their
images? By this are they are willing to add a meaning to the existing universe?
Or don’t they have the ability to think beyond human.
Looking from a broader
angle we see, this human race couldn’t solve the big question on God, created
many explanations, theories, myths and religions and then divided their concepts
and made it more and more complex day by day. Whether God is alone or many hasn’t
yet or ever been solved unanimously, Some even denied the concept of creator
and believed in evolution of the Nature. They couldn’t solve the core question
of creation rather they are now willing to play God. zenno’s famous paradox which
says, there can’t be two or many but one alone as many will eventually derivate
into many more and will continue to dissolve into eternity as like the mirror
inside mirror tends to infinity affect. So the concept of one can’t be living
with the concept of many, they may become contradictory. If there is one alone
and He created two or many, then is he among many or stand alone one? If He is
the one then is the creation derivative of him? Well we better not loose our
focus point discussion.
If we shift the focus to
a different angle, say for example a state leader willing to manufacture his
entire army based on cloning or by human alike robots based on the best
performance human solders he had of all times then what is the obstacle here on
doing so? Or say for in the case of male or female partner choosing among
general people, if anyone wish to have a clone or human alike robot friend of
his or her choice then where is the problem? Moreover it maybe adjustable to
any new upgrade or modification and can have multiple face or body change
facility including attitude control by Ai interfacing.
What will then be the
reality? aren’t we talking about Man made reality? The dramatic changes in
reality has been evident during past few decades. Just think about the
telephone facility shifts, think about the traveling systems and yes these
changes created great impact in our daily living and for sure the emerging
trends are vigorously trying to change our next era life styles. This shifts in
life style surely demands a change in our background philosophy but human tendencies
is that they won’t change their philosophy only because they have fallen in
love with it. No matter it contradicts the reality, they will stick to the plan
and the grad design. Any threat to their belief system they will protect as if
that belief is saving them from being demolished.
21apr19> I am not concluding this article with a complete
judgment as I myself is yet unclear what
new technologies may bring up next. And I have no intention to impose my
thoughts on others or say against any belief system. Here I have raised some
queries regarding the subject matter which went through my mind with an
objective to seek other’s opinion on the same.
